Josh Freed has been working in nonfiction film and television for over a decade.
Josh’s feature length documentary, 5 Weddings and a Felony, which he wrote, directed, shot and edited, recently became available on iTunes and Verizon Fios VOD. The film premiered at the IFC Center in DOC NYC, and Indiewire’s review called it “A DIY relationship comedy set in the real world… undoubtedly entertains.”
In 2014, Josh edited several films for Nick Davis Productions and began working as a video editor for ABC News’ Weekend Good Morning America.
In 2012, Josh was Senior Video Editor for the election video team at The Huffington Post.
Josh has assistant edited for ABC News’ Nightline Prime, as well as Frontline on PBS. He associate produced the Showtime documentary, Very Young Girls. He has also produced and/or edited short videos for dozens of businesses and non-profits.
