Jane’s career has taken her on a long and winding road through the ever-changing worlds of media and marketing, culminating in her role with Nick Davis Productions as Director of Business Development.
It began at CBS where she worked on marketing sales programs for radio and television. In various positions during those years, she assisted in sales promotional and research efforts for both network and local programming.
Jane later managed the program practices team, overseeing a team of editors and acting as a liaison between the CBS network executives and producers of primetime entertainment and sports programs.
Eventually, she left the world of a major media corporation for an exciting entrepreneurial opportunity with a new magazine, Corporate Finance. As the assistant publisher, Jane further honed her talent for assisting clients to achieve their marketing visions. This time with senior executives at financial firms seeking to reach their customers in the corporate world.
When her life took her from Manhattan to suburban Connecticut, and as the media landscape continued to evolve, she found other outlets for her talents.
Most recently, she was the New Canaan, CT Editor for Patch, a web-based local news source for towns across the US, which at the time was part of the Huffington Post arm of AOL. In addition to overall management and editing of the New Canaan site, she did original reporting on town news and events.
Beyond her professional experiences, Jane has put her experience to use for the betterment of her community. She has been active in numerous non-profit organizations, spearheading fundraising and developing promotional programs. Perhaps most near to her heart, was Go For A Cure, which she co-founded. For several years, she co-chaired an event that raised funds to support breast cancer research and programs serving patients.
